Two Active Ingredients

CASPER® harnesses the strength of two active ingredients, a combination new to the grassland market for robust weed control: 

  1. Prosulfuron (50g/litre) 

  1. Dicamba (500g/litre) 

This unique combination delivers exceptional broad-spectrum control against problematic weeds in both new and established pastures.

1. Broad-spectrum weed control

CASPER® effectively targets a wide range of problematic weeds including: 

  • Tough perennial broad leaved weeds (in established grassland)

Including: Broad leaved dock, Curled dock, Creeping thistle,  Spear thistle, Ragwort, Nettles, Greater plantain, Common sorrel, Yarrow, plus some control of Buttercups (75-80%), and some control of Dandelions (50-70%). 

  • Annual broad leaved weeds (in newly sown and established grassland) 

Including: Black nightshade, Chickweed, Field bindweed, Fat hen, Fumitory, Groundsel, Knotgrass, Mayweeds, Redshank, Scarlet pimpernel Shepherd’s purse, Small nettle, Seedling docks and Thistles, plus moderate control of Cleavers and Poppy.
